Government of India, Ministry of Tourism, Eastern Regional Office, Kolkata celebrated International Day of Yoga 2023 in association with Victoria Memorial Hall at its premises on 21.06.2023. Yoga for Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam, this year's International Day of Yoga 2023 theme, symbolises our united ambition for "One Earth, One Family, One Future." The Honourable Governor of West Bengal, Dr. C. V. Ananda Bose, was present, which significantly raised the event's stature. Mentor Yogacharya Mary Cecil led the yoga session where more than 1000 Yuva Tourism Club Members, students and teachers from 250 schools and institutions from all around West Bengal gathered.

More than 50 YTC members along with their faculty members attended the informative session. During the session, the students understood the importance of sustainable practices/ activities in their daily life and how to become responsible towards the environment . In the end, all the students with faculty members took travel for life LiFE pledge .

Odisha view allTourism Yuva Club of Kendriya Vidyalaya Rajgarhi Conducted essay writing competition on the theme of Popular Tourism places of state Uttarakhand. On this occasion considering the greatness and vast perspectives for writing were available for religious and trekking places of Uttarakhand, 37 students participated in the essay writing competition. Kedarnath, Badrinath, Mahasu Devta, Yamunotri and Gangotri Dham were some of the topics they had written about elaborately. Many ancient sites and trekking places of Uttarkashi which have both historical and religious value find mention in their writings. It is no wonder that the Char Dhams, despite having most difficult journey are the most visited shrines in our country. The students had an hour to write on Tourism places of Uttarakhand. The The competition was unusual and provoked the creative and imaginary thinking of the students, who not only wrote about their favorite places of district Uttarkashi, but also made some beautiful sketches along with their writing.
