Nagaland view allReport on Yuva Tourism Club Event at Linton Hall School On June 15, 2023, the Ministry of Tourism Government of India (North region) organized a Yuva Tourism Club event at Linton Hall School in Srinagar, Jammu and Kashmir. The event was attended by students of grade 7. The event began with an introduction to the Yuva Tourism Clubs, its importance and need and about scope, types and possible tourism activities in the state to promote economic development, growth, culture, cuisines & handicrafts of Jammu & Kashmir. The students came up with a number of creative ideas, including: A hiking and camping trip to the Kashmir Valley. A food festival showcasing the cuisine of Jammu and Kashmir. A handicrafts workshop where students could learn to make traditional Kashmiri handicrafts. The students also took the Travel for LIFE pledge, which is a commitment to promoting sustainable tourism. The Travel for LIFE pledge includes promises to: Respect local cultures and traditions Protect the environment Support local businesses & Travel responsibly. The event concluded with a speech by Mrs. Farhat Aslam, Principal of Linton Hall School. Mrs. Aslam spoke about the importance of sustainability for tourism and urged the students to be ambassadors for sustainable tourism. The Yuva Tourism Club event at Linton Hall School was a success and the students were very enthusiastic about the Yuva Tourism Clubs. The event helped to raise awareness of sustainable tourism and the importance of tourism for economic development.

Gujarat Tourism in association with India Tourism Hyderabad a field office of Ministry of Tourism, Govt. of India launched 'Travel and Tourism seminar' at hotel the plaza Hyderabad on Tuesday 13th june 2023. The seminar is meant to promote 'Rann Utsav', the only white desert of India and other tourism destinations of Gujarat. India Tourism invited Yuva Tourism Club teacher and student coordinators to get acquainted with the Gujarat Tourism destinations and attractions. Office bearers of travel trade associations, officials of India Tourism & Department of Tourism Telangana, Yuva Tourism Clubs, tour operators, hoteliers participated in the tourism seminar.
Telangana view allYTC of St. Mary's Dimapur observed World Environment Day on 5th June, 23 by organizing drawing competition on the topics: Solution to plastic pollution/global warming/save environment. The club members also planted trees in & around the school campus.
Nagaland view allAATO in association with Ministry of Tourism, Government of India organises Heritage Walk on World Heritage Day for hundreds of Yuva Tourism Club Members and Tourism Stakeholders of Andaman and Nicobar. This guided walk helped the students to learn about the rich cultural heritage of Port Blair city. The walk was flagged off from Cellular Jail by Shri. Kalaivanan R, IPS, Superintendent of Police,South Andaman District in the presence of Dr.Rasheeda Iqbal, Assistant Director, Department of Art & Culture and incharge of Cellular Jail and Shri.Ramakrishnan, Assistan Director, Indiatourism Port Blair.
