Yuva Tourism club students of ITITI–Doon Sanskriti School (Uttarakhand), along with the teachers, took part in planting trees in the campus of the school. Various types of trees sapling like southern silky-oak, moringa and plum were planted in the school premises. The teachers were asked to explain the importance of different trees to the students. The geography teachers explain the importance of trees and encouraged the students to plant more trees. The teachers guided the students on how to plant a sapling properly. Mr. Ritwik Vijay, Director, along with the teachers, also planted a jackfruit trees. He also talked about how planting trees helps to regulate the temperature and absorb all the carbon dioxide from the air. He also suggested that every student should at least plant a tree every year as it will help the world to fight against global warming. The teachers guided the students on how to plant a sapling properly.
