Students of the YUVA club visited the Qutub Shahi tombs and had an enriching experience to witness the marvels of the Persian, Pathan and Hindu architectural styles that makes use of grey granite and learnt about the history behind it. The Tombs form the most reliable evidence of the Qutub Shahi dynasty and their architectural traditions. These are exquisite structures where every arch, columns, dome minarets, and galleries were created with finessed and are surrounded by landscape gardens called Ibrahim Bagh. It houses seven tombs dedicated to the former kings of Golconda. The students were very enthusiastic to share their knowledge and experience. They enlightened and interacted with the tourists at the site as responsible members of the YUVA club. Students used the opportunity of the science exhibition held in the school to sensitise visitors about the importance of visiting tourist location and in particular about the Qutub Shahi tombs. The visitors took keen interest in listening to the students and were appreciative of their efforts. Many of the visitors were impressed by the students and their zeal for tourism and assured that they would visit the place at the earliest. Students displayed the various activities done by them like a study of the different architecture styles of temples and mosques, itinerary to visit Hyderabad and preparing a travelogue to name a few. Overall, students of the YUVA club did a commendable job in popularising one of the lesser known place in the heart of the city to the members of the societies who live near the school.
