As part of innovative ideas for Clean India program, members of Yuva Tourism Club, Pune from Baburaoji Gholap College visited and participated in a workshop of Re Charkha NGO in Pune on 23rd September 2022. Re Charkha is an NGO based in Pune, they have rediscovered the charkha and they upcycle waste plastic bags and wrappers using a traditional CHARKHA and HANDLOOM, thus CONSERVING the Environment and Enabling Tribal and Rural Livelihoods. the students learned about the innovative process of upcycling waste plastic bags and wrappers and converting them into attractive and useful wares.
