Celebrations of International Day of Yoga

Bhramanti Yuva Tourism Club and Aarogya Fitness Club of Goa College of Home Science, Campal Panaji organized the Yoga session on International Yoga Day dated June 21, 2023. Dr. Pankaj Sainekar was the Resource Person. He is QCI Level 3 certified; Ayush Ministry, Govt of India and Master resource person in yoga for all govt primary schools in Goa. He also holds Five world records in yoga(Surya Namaskar) Three are performing surya namaskar from sunrise to sunset. Two are performing surya namaskar from sunrise to sunrise. This year's theme for international yoga was "Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam". 25 Members of Yuva tourism club along with teaching and non-teaching staff participated in the yoga session. Everyone felt that the session was very refreshing & relaxing for the body as well as for their mind.

YTC Induction program hosted by Indiatourism Mumbai office

India Tourism Mumbai organized an online exciting introductory session for the new Yuva Tourism Clubs in the Western region. YTC of KV Diu actively attended the workshop, where they had the opportunity to learn about the club's purpose and activities. The session also included a screening of "1857 India's First War of Independence to commemorate the birth anniversary of Mangal Pandey, a legendary figure in India's freedom struggle.

International Day of Yoga

'Yoga for Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam' or 'Yoga for the Welfare of All as One World-One Family,' is the theme for International Yoga Day 2023. Indiatourism Silvassa celebrated the International Day of Yoga with all the Yuva Tourism Clubs of Dadra Nagar Haveli and Daman & Diu on 21st June with different YTC clubs. Alok Public School Silvassa participated in and celebrated the International Day of Yoga with 50 Yuva Tourism Club members.

Diu's Famous attractions created from Clay

The students from the YTC club of Kendriya Vidalaya Diu made famous attractions of Diu with clay. They created beautiful replica of famous tourist attractions of Diu in the Union territory of Dadra Nagar Haveli & Daman & Diu like Diu fort, Gangeswar Mahadev Temple and Diu beaches.

Interaction of Yuva Tourism Club students with Hon’ble Tourism Minister Shri G. Kishan Reddy

In the sideline of G20 4th Tourism working group meeting the Hon’ble Tourism Minister Shri Kishan Reddy interreacted with the Yuva Tourism Club of S.S. Dempo College of Commerce & Economics. The students gave perspective of their understanding & awareness regarding tourism in state. The Students also put forth several thought-provoking questions to the Minister who answered them and increase them to explore the country and become tourism Ambassador.

Alok Public School Silvassa

Yuva Tourism Club Inauguration and World Environment Day Celebration

Alok Public School Silvassa from the UT of Dadra Nagar Haveli and Daman & Diu joined the Yuva Tourism Club on the 5th of June 2023. The school has specially chosen World Environment Day to inaugurate the YTC and planted saplings in the school garden. Around 40 students joined the plantation drive along with Alok Public School Principal Mrs. Smriti Singh and Vice Principal Mrs. Monika Sharma and other teaching staff.
