Sri Buddha School, Kalingapatnam

Dhyaana Vidhyarthi

Yuva Tourism Club of Sri Buddha School of Kalingapatnam in Srikakulam district organized "Dhyaana Vidhyarthi" programme led by "Pyramid Spiritual Society" members in the school premises. Students from fourth class to tenth class participated in the programme and learnt about the importance of meditation for the development of one's personality, concentration and education.

Fit India Swachhata Freedom Run 4.0

Yuva Tourism Club of Gayatri College of Science & Management in Srikakulam district organized Fit India Swachhata Freedom Run 4.0 at Munsabpeta village under the guidance of District Tourism Officer to promote fitness and clean surroundings. This Run was conducted from the college towards NH16 (service road).

Heal School

A visit to Bhavani Island

Visually impaired and blind students of Heal School visited Bhavani Island as a part of Yuva Tourism Club - excursion trip. Club members participated in various outdoor activities including boating, walking around the island, etc. Tourism department conducted a session on the importance of Tourism for club members and Travel for LiFE pledge was taken by the children at Bhavani Island.

Celebrations - World Food day 2023

In celebration of World Food Day on October 16, 2023, the Department of Hotel Management at Naipunnya School of Management, Cherthala, Alappuzha, Kerala, organized a remarkable and record-breaking culinary event. The highlight of the event was the creation of a massive 10-feet-long Millets Puttu using a single Bamboo Puttu maker. This endeavor aimed to promote the rich culinary traditions of Kerala, particularly the art of making Puttu, a popular South Indian dish.

Demonstration of Fortified Rice” with reference of Tourism Day Celebration 2023 was conducted on 26th September 2023 for Improvement of ICDS & Noon meal workers in Alappuzha in food production Job. The programme was inaugurated by Mr. Sooraj Shaji, IAS Sub Collector, Alappuzha, along with food safety department officials. The faculty coordinator were HoD Harikrishnan R and Mr. Jophy Jose and Mr. Gopak Umar C G. This Workshop was delivered by Mrs. Hemambika, Nodal Food Safety Officer, Alappuzha. Yuva Tourism Club of KV Ooty, has involved the Swachh Bharat activities in the school campus and surrounding areas under Swachh Bharat Activity on 18th October 2023. Around 20 students participated in the Swachh Bharat Campaign.

Yuva Tourism Club of KV No. 1, Narimedu Madurai has cleaned the public park near the school campus as part of Swachh Bharat Activity on 2nd October 2023. Around 26 students participated in the Swachh Bharat Campaign.

A visit to Bapu Museum

Yuva Tourism Club of Kendriya Vidyalaya No.1, Vijayawada visited Bapu Museum under the guidance of Club coordinator. Club members were educated about the different sculptures of Buddhism, Hinduism, ancient artifacts, coinages, potteries, arms & weapons, etc. which are all found and excavated from the various regions of Andhra Pradesh and installed in the museum.
