Shri Shakti College of Hotel Management

World Heritage week

As part of Heritage Week Celebrations from 19th to 25th November 2023, ITO Hyderabad organised tour to Rastrapathi Nilayam, Bollarum, Secunderabad for the students of YUVA Tourism Club Shri Shakti College of Hotel Management. A scholar-guided tour of the 163-year-old main heritage building of Rastrapathi Nilayam, Knowledge Gallery with historical tales, Historic Flag Post site, Kitchen Tunnel decorated with GI tagged Cheriyal art depicting the rich Telangana culture and heritage along with several theme parks such as Nakshatra, Herbal Garden and Rock Garden and the Stepwells is a sumptuous feast. This First Citizen's iconic residence stands not only as a symbol of presidential elegance but also as a witness to India's journey through time. More than 40 students and coordinators participated in the tour.

World Heritage week

As part of Heritage Week Celebrations from 19th to 25th November 2023, ITO Hyderabad organised Heritage Walk for YUVA Tourism Club International Institute of Hotel Management college students, at Qutub Shahi Tombs in the Nizam's city of Hyderabad. The Heritage Walk made the students to learn, recognize and reminds the rich culture and histiory for the understanding of culture and history of Hyderabad. More than 60 students and ITO Hyderabad officials had participated in the Heritage Walk.

World Heritage week

As part of Heritage Week Celebrations from 19th to 25th November 2023, ITO Hyderabad organised Heritage Walk for YUVA Tourism Club shantiniketan school students in association with ASI Charminar. The Heritage Walk started from Charminar the landmark of Hyderabad covering the sites like Mecca Masjid, Laad Bazar, Gulzar Houz and ended at Badshahi Ashurkhana. The Heritage Walk made students to look back and reminded them of rich culture & history around the monuments of old city of Hyderabad. More than 60 Students from Shantiniketan school, officials from ASI Charminar and ITO Hyderabad participated in the Heritage Walk.

Regency college of hotel management Hyderabad

World Heritage week

As part of World Heritage week celebrations from 19th to 25th November 2023, Yuva Tourism Club Regency college of Hotel Management organised poster making competition for the students. The students made beautiful posters on Heritage monuments of Telangana, like Charminar, Chowmahalla Palace, Qutub Shahi Tombs etc. The poster making competition raised awareness on Heritage monuments among the students. More than 40 students participated in the poster making competition.

World Heritage week

As part of the World Heritage Week celebrations from 19 to 25 November 2023, Yuva Tourism Club Regency college of hotel management conducted 'Varied heritage of India' online quiz competition to the students with an aim to increase awareness, understanding of Indian heritage monuments. More than 40 students participated in the quiz programme.

World Heritage week

As part of World Heritage week from 19th to 25th November 2023, India Tourism Hyderabad office in association with ASI Hyderabad organised screening of documentary film on UNESCO World Heritage Sites and ASI monuments at Golconda Fort, Hyderabad . The films helped to increase students' knowledge of great Indian Heritage monuments as well as tourist destinations of India. The Students also took part in Plantation drive in Golconda Fort. 100 Yuva Tourism Club Students from Tagores Home New Era school have actively participated in the Event.

World Heritage week

As part of World Heritage Week from 19th to 25th November 2023. India Tourism Hyderabad office organised Heritage tour of Hyderabad city for Yuva Tourism Club students of Safdaria Girls High School Mehdipatnam. The tour helped the students to understand the rich heritage of the Qutubshahi and Nizam monuments -Charminar, Mecca Masjid, Chowmahalla palace & Nizam Museum etc. The tour provided an opportunity for students to engage in authentic experiences that enhance their understanding, appreciation, and pride in their own cultural heritage, as well as the heritage of others. More than 100 students and teachers participated in this tour.

FIT Swachhata Freedom Walk

The Yuva Tourism Club of Shri Shakti college of Hotel Management in association with Ministry of Tourism Hyderabad Office has organised Swachhata Freedom Walk from Begumpet Airport to CGHS Begumpet Hyderabad on 30th October 2023. The walk is conducted with Travel for Life pla cards to inspire locals to adopt exercise as a way of life and to be healthy as well as to keep their surroundings and tourist places clean. Staff and more than 50 students actively participated in the Fit India Swachhta Freedom Walk.
