Travel for Life and Clean up Drive for World Tourism Day 2023- Activities
Institute of Hotel Management (IHM) - Bangalore in association with Jai Maata Grandeur Hotel, Shivamogga celebrated the Swachhta Hi Sewa-2023 with theme Garbage Free India at Sringeri which was among the 108 locations identified by Ministry of Tourism, Government of India. At the sites, IHM - Bangalore officials along with YTC member: Took the TFL pledge in English and Kannada. 2) Undertook a cleanliness drive around the pilgrimage sight (Sringeri). 3) The Swachhata pledge in English and Kannada under the Swacchata Hi Sewa initiative.

As a part of World Tourism Day, Ministry of Tourism, Government of India, Bengaluru Office inaugurated the "Travel for Life" campaign at the historic Somnathpura Temple in Karnataka. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from the Yuva Tourism Club members, tourism stakeholders, officials of Karnataka Tourism, India Tourism, and local Guides, who collectively took the Travel for Life pledge to ensure the cleanliness and preservation of tourist sites. Additionally, a cleanliness drive was organized at Somnathpura Temple aiming to raise awareness about cleanliness and the vision of a garbage free city. A total of 100 participants, including members of the Yuva Tourism Club, tourism stakeholders, officials from Karnataka Tourism, India Tourism, and Guides actively contributed to the event.

World Tourism Day with inauration of Travel for Life pledge and cleanliness drive
As a part of World Tourism Day, Ministry of Tourism, Government of India Bengaluru office inaugurated the "Travel for Life" campaign at the historic Chennakeshava Temple in Belur, Karnataka. The event was attended by members of the Yuva Tourism Club, tourism stakeholders, officials from Karnataka Tourism and India Tourism, as well as local guides. An awareness rally was organized to promote the cleanliness and preservation of tourist places and monuments. The participants took the Travel for Life pledge to ensure the cleanliness and preservation of these important tourist sites. In addition, a cleanliness drive was organized at the Chennakeshava Temple in Belur with the aim of raising awareness about cleanliness and promoting the vision of a garbage-free city. A total of 210 participants actively contributed to this event.

Yuva Tourism Club members actively participated in the competition and the winners were awarded.

World Tourism Day with “IRE Questa,”
Ministry of Tourism, Government of India, Bengaluru office in association with the Department of Travel and Tourism, Mount Carmel College in the fest, “IRE Questa,”as part of the world Tourism Day celebrations. The event was attended by more than 600 students of travel and tourism, members of Yuva Tourism Club and other travel stake holder. Mr Manoj Kumar IFS, Managing Director of Jungle Lodges and Resorts graced the event as the Chief Guest. Mr Mohamed Farouk, Director, Ministry of Tourism, Government of India, was the Guest of Honor. The event saw panel discussions and the administration of the Travel For Life Pledge. Ministry of Tourism, Government of India, Bengaluru Office, put up an information kiosk to disseminate information about the different tourism products of Incredible India.
