Dental Checkup Camp for Yuva Tourism Club

Dental Checkup Camp was conducted for Yuva Tourism Club of Sri Buddha School at Srikakulam. During this occasion, club members and students were educated about the precautions need to be taken to keep teeth healthy and the benefits of using the naturally available Neem as a tooth brush (whenever available) was highlighted among the students.

Yuva Tourism Club of Govt. Junior College (Girls), Srikakulam conducted a plantation Drive. The Principal attended & addressed the students, Campaign like this implants a positive and educational way to engage young students in environmental conservation and raise awareness about the importance of trees and forests.

Unicent school Kompally

National Handloom Day Pochampally village visit

Field trips give the opportunity to blend the learning with our real life. YTC students of Unicent School, Kompally, Hyderabad were thrilled to observe the weaving process in Boodhan Pochampally village on August 7 which is the National Handloom day. They were mesmerized with the warp and weft designs in Ikaat style, a contemporary style of weaving originated in the South-east countries. Images of takli, charka and handlooms turned into reality. The officials also explained the history of the village and how the Boodhan movement initiated by Vinobha Bhave saved the lives of weavers. Children could also absorb the simplicity of weavers, who create wonders in fabric.

Unicent school Kompally

Tourism Seminar

India tourism Hyderabad, Ministry of Tourism organised Travel and Tourism seminar through an Audio-visual presentation for Yuva Tourism Club students in Unicent School, Kompally, Hyderabad on 24/08/2023. The presentation highlighted the various tourism products of India ranging from Heritage, Wellness, Wildlife, Luxury, Adventure etc. The session also included opportunities in Tourism Sector, Travel For Life Campaign of the Ministry of Tourism. The students were encouraged to travel and explore nearby tourist destinations and share their travel experiences. Dekho Apna Desh postcards and Ek Bharat Sresta Bharat bookmarks were presented to the students. The students and teachers took the Lifestyle for Environmental pledge. Around 70 students actively participated in the session.

On the Telugu Language Day Yuva Tourism Club of Shantiniketan High School In association with IT Hyderabad office on 29/08/2023 has organized Telugu Poetry writing competition and Recitation of poetry with the students. And also the students had been thought about the importance of the Telugu language.

Yuva Tourism Club of Tagore School, Srikakulam celebrated Raksha Bandhan at their school by tying a Rakhee to a tree while the club co-ordinator sensitized on the significance of a tree and recognized it as a brother for all the girls members of the club

Telugu Bhasha Dinostavam Celebrations

Yuva Tourism Club members and students of Roshni Ratnam E.M. High School, Nellore celebrated Telugu Language Day (Telugu Bhasha Dinostavam) on 29th August 2023. The day marks the birth anniversary of Sri Gidugu Venkata Ramamurthy, who popularized Telugu language among the common people by writing in a style that could be understood by all. Students recited poems from Mahabharata and enacted bhuvanavijayam drama.
