Indiatourism Delhi organized a workshop for the Yuva Tourism Club (YTC) of the State Institute of Hotel Management (SIHM), Dharamshala. The session was addressed by Sh. Sanjay Kumar, Tourist Information Officer (TIO) IT Delhi, and Sh. Rajan Sharma, Principal In-Charge, SIHM. They spoke to the YTC students about the vast job opportunities available in the field of tourism and the importance of pursuing careers in this growing sector. To further inspire and engage the students, a ‘Dekho Apna Desh’ brochure-making competition was organised. Indiatourism Delhi awarded prizes and certificates to the winners, encouraging creativity and awareness about domestic tourism. Brochures and other promotional materials were distributed to YTC members to help promote tourism-related initiatives. This initiative aimed to foster interest in the tourism sector and motivate students to become ambassadors of India’s rich cultural heritage and travel experiences.

Indiatourism Delhi organised heritage walk for Yuva tourism club of Maharaja Agarsain Public School Ashok Vihar and school invited 10 Korean Students groups along with them at Red Fort on 27.11.2024. An approved guide Mr. RK Verma who guided children and enlighten about the historical importance of Red Fort. It was a captivating experience, providing students with insights into Delhi’s architectural and historical legacy. The majestic Mughal-era tomb, with its intricate design and lush surroundings, served as a rich learning environment. Students explored the monument’s significance, learning about its cultural heritage and the historical context . The Yuva Tourism Club of Dev Sanskriti Vishwavidyalaya played a pivotal role in the Gyan Kumbh 2024 program, a joint initiative with Shiksha Avam Nyas. The event witnessed participation from approximately 700 students, including 70 students from Dev Sanskriti Vishwavidyalaya, Haridwar, and 60 other colleges. The program commenced on 1st and 2nd October 2024, with a warm welcome by Dr. Chinmay Pandya sir, Pro-Vice Chancellor, Dev Sanskriti Vishvavidyalaya, who shared his thoughts on education and knowledge. Dr. Arunesh Parashar, Co-ordinator of Yuva Tourism Club played a crucial role in managing this event. The event was mesmerized by the presence of a special guest, Dr. Dhan Singh Rawat, and the Governor of Uttarakhand. Volunteers from the Tourism Youth Club, Dev Sanskriti University, NCC, NSS, MBA and BBA students, and faculties from the Tourism Department participated. Activities of Yuva Tourism Club - Presentation on posters and essays by Yuva Tourism Club members - Scientific exhibition by students from various universities - Presentations on cleanliness and sanitation - Shramdaan (voluntary labor) and cleanliness drive - Painting competition - Hospitality and accommodation arrangements by Tourism Department students Students who excelled in the different competitions were felicitated with awards. The Jnan Kumbh 2024 program showcased the talents and capabilities of Dev Sanskriti Vishwavidyalaya students and demonstrated the Yuva Tourism Club's commitment to community service and knowledge sharing.

Shri Mitesh Semwal, Director of RIMT, opened the event, followed by Dr. Swarna Gupta, Manager of Uttarakhand, who presented the Ministry's initiatives to promote sustainable tourism and enhance the sector's contribution to the economy. Shri Amit Singh Assistant Manager Uttarakhand, facilitated the Travel for Life pledge, which saw enthusiastic participation from 60 students and the institute staff. Shri Shubham Pahwa from Indigo Airlines inspired students with insights into diverse career opportunities in the Aviation industry. The celebration also highlighted Uttarakhand's rich cultural heritage through vibrant performances and local cuisines. Members of the Yuva Tourism Club of Sambhota Tibetan School, Shimla have visited Wildflower Hall for an industrial visit, where they explored various aspects of the hotel industry. The students were given a tour of key departments, including the Front Office, Kitchen, and the different types of rooms. They also learned about the operational procedures in a luxury heritage hotel. This visit provided valuable insights into the hospitality industry and the heritage significance of Wildflower Hall.
