IIHM Hyderabad

G20 Culinary Bonding program

The International Institute of Hotel Management (IIHM) & Golkonda Resort Hyderabad in association with IT Hyderabad organised food festival, themed after G20 Culinary Bonding on 25th of March 2023. This 'G20 Food Fest’ set an extravagant affair with an amazing line-up of food, drinks, and entertainment. Guests at the event expected to sample the very best of global cuisine, prepared by IIHM's highly talented student chefs, with an array of 20 countries, international delicacies, the festival is set to offer a truly immersive culinary experience. The cuisines were prepared by Yuva Tourism club Students of IIHM- Hyderabad.

Food And Safety Training Program

Yuva Tourism Club IHM Shri Shakti has organized an event Food And Safety Training (FAST) at Nampally exhibition grounds. On 17th February 2023. This programme is about training the food stall vendors on Food Hygiene and Safety training. Chef uniforms were distributed to the food handlers.

Yuva Tourism Club Shri Shakthi College of Hotel Management in association with Indiatourism Hyderabad has organized a Heritage and Food walk around Charminar for students. On 13th February 2023.

IIHM Hyderabad and Yuva Tourism Club IIHM organized 9th International IIHM Young Chef Olympiad 2023 from 30th to 31st January 2023 Round 1 culinary competition in association with Ministry of Tourism office Hyderabad.

National Tourism Day Celebrations

Ministry of Tourism Hyderabad office organised National Tourism Day 2023 and Yuva Tourism Clubs Telangana Chapter event in Salarjung museum on 25th January 2023. The event was organised to promote tourism ,launching of brochures, certificate distribution to the tourism quiz winners, and to create awareness about Yuva Tourism Club activities. Several Yuva Tourism club schools and colleges in Hyderabad participated in the event.

IITTM Nellore & IHM Shri Shakthi

Swachhta awareness activity program

IITTM Nellore in association with Ministry of Tourism Hyderabad office and Yuva Tourism club IHM Shri Shakthi organized Swachhta awareness activity program in Lumbini Park on 23rd December 2022. The students sensitised the public and tourist with nukkad natak and raising cleanliness slogans.The students also cleaned the park. 50 students and coordinators participated in the event.

Tourism orientation program

India Tourism Hyderabad organised Tourism orientation program in KV No.2 Gloconda. On 15th December 2022. The students were told about over view and initiatives of the Ministry of Tourism such as Dekho Apna Desh, Visit India 2023, Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat to Yuva Tourism Club members.

National Unity Day

Ministry of Tourism office Hyderabad in association with Tourism Clubs of IHM Hyderabad celebrated National Unity Day on 31st October, 2023. As part of celebrations Unity Run, Unity Chain, National Unity Day pledge oath taking were organised. 100 students, faculty and officials participated in the event.

Yuva Tourism Club of KV Trimulghery visit to Golconda fort. On 13th December 2022. The students explored the fort and they were thrilled to know the ingenious water supply and acoustic properties of the fort.

World Tourism Day-Cultural Evening

Inidatourism Hyderabad in association with Yuva Tourism Clubs in Hyderabad celebrated World Tourism Day megacultural evening event at ameerpet metro station on 27th Sep 2022 as part of Azadi Ka Amrith Mahotsav Iconic Week Celebrations. Oggu dolu, Kommu Koya, Folk songs, Banjara Dance, Selfi points, flash mobs are organised in the cultural evening. Around 1500 students and public participated in the event.
