Visit to Kalingapatnam Lighthouse

Yuva Tourism Club of Sri Buddha School from Kalingapatnam visited Lighthouse near their school campus as a part of study tour. The Lighthouse authorities explained the Functioning, Purpose, Collection of Data, Radar and many more of it to the club members.

RYLA camp at Kumbakonam

The Yuva Tourism of Sri Sankara Senior Secondary School organised a visit to RYLA(Rotary Youth Leadership Awards) camp at Kumbakonam for the INTERACTORS of class XI. The students experienced various cultural programs and received the knowledge by listening to the speeches of prominent leaders. The students had the opportunity to interact with the other students and staff from various schools. It was a good learning experience for our students.

Yuva club celebrated 75 Glorious years of being a Republic by exhibiting charts and video presentation of different tourist spots in India .Yuva volunteers dressed up in different costumes representing the states and also did facial painting,mehandi etc thereby inculcating ths spirit of unity in diversity among the students The exhibition was opened to all students from 5th std to 12thstd

The students witnessed the various steps that are involved in water packaging. The students had the opportunity to interact with the workers of the factory. The students vision of the hard work behind the water purification and packaging.

The Yuva Tourism of Sri Sankara Senior Secondary School organised a visit to Dinamalar Press for the students of class VII. The students witnessed the various steps that are involved in printing a daily. The students had the opportunity to interact with the press workers and the editor.

A visit to FARM

The Yuva Tourism of Sri Sankara Senior Secondary School organized a visit to Farm Guru, Sholavaram for the students of class X. The students witnessed the various steps that are involved in growing a crop and different methods of water supply to the crops. The students had the opportunity to interact with the farmers and they experienced various activities like soil preparation, sowing, protection from weeds, harvesting and storing. The students had the vision of the hard behind the crop production.

A visit to Diet Aqua factory

The Yuva Tourism of Sri Sankara Senior Secondary School organised a visit to Diet Aqua package drinking water factory in Sriperambadur for the students of class V. The students witnessed the various process of cleaning water and how the pet bottles were made and how the water if filled and sealed. The students had the opportunity to interact with the workers working in the factory. The workers explained well to the students.

Farm sanctuary is a place where students can familiarise the traditional games and toys. it was a on day programme. students enjoyed it. Date:17-11-2023
