While administering the 'Himalaya Pledge', Principal Prof. KL Talwad said, "The Himalayas are the head of our country. The Great Mountain is the basis of climate, life, and environment for a large part of the world. Its peaks inspire us to reach new heights. "I promise that I will make every possible effort to protect the Himalayas. I will not do anything that could harm the Himalayas." Nodal officer Indiatourism Silvassa conducted an online induction program on YTC and explained Travel for LiFE: A mission under Travel for Mission Life. The event is graced by Dr. S. Kumar (Principal), Dr. Balasubramanian (Vice-Principal), Dr. Srimati Srivastava (YTC coordinator) Govt. College Daman along with other staff and students. Students took online Travel for LiFE Pledge. Dr. Balasubramanian explained, "Travel is the best teacher."
Dadra & Nagar Haveli and Daman & Diu view allField trips give the opportunity to blend the learning with our real life. YTC students of Unicent School, Kompally, Hyderabad were thrilled to observe the weaving process in Boodhan Pochampally village on August 7 which is the National Handloom day. They were mesmerized with the warp and weft designs in Ikaat style, a contemporary style of weaving originated in the South-east countries. Images of takli, charka and handlooms turned into reality. The officials also explained the history of the village and how the Boodhan movement initiated by Vinobha Bhave saved the lives of weavers. Children could also absorb the simplicity of weavers, who create wonders in fabric.

Chandigarh view allA workshop cum a virtual trip to Rashtrapati Bhawan was held at the school auditorium on August 26, 2023, from 8.00 am to 10.30 am in Vivekananda Hall of KVBHEL, Hardwar. Two PowerPoint Presentations depicting the history, role, relevance and approachability of the Rashtrapati Bhawan were made for all the students of the club who are to be taken to the place in New Delhi. The programme was attended by the Respected Principal Mr. Rajesh Kumar, the Coordinator of the club Dr. Anu Verma, and Teacher members of the school club. Mr R S Pal, TGT SSt and member of the club enlightened the students about the tenure, office and other details of the President of the Country Master Aditya Sharma and Miss Pratishtha Mishra presented a PPT on the topic "Exploring Rashtrapati Bhawan: The Residence of India's President virtually taking the participants into the House of the Country's Defence Head. Master Shreyansh Jain and Miss Anjali Bhadoriya came up with other details linked to the President's Estate with the topic, " Journey Through Time: Exploring the Treasures of Rashtrapati Bhawan Museum” The programme concluded with words of wisdom from the Hon’ble Principal on the importance of travelling to places of importance in the country.
