Maharashtra view all“Demonstration of Fortified Rice” with reference of Tourism Day Celebration 2023 was conducted on 26th September 2023 for Improvement of ICDS & Noon meal workers in Alappuzha in food production Job. The programme was inaugurated by Mr. Sooraj Shaji, IAS Sub Collector, Alappuzha, along with food safety department officials. The faculty coordinator were HoD Harikrishnan R and Mr. Jophy Jose and Mr. Gopak Umar C G. This Workshop was delivered by Mrs. Hemambika, Nodal Food Safety Officer, Alappuzha. The programme marketed by the Creative Arts club coordinator of HM Department Mr. Manu M U. Introduction: The Outreach Activity "Demonstration of Fortified Rice" was organized on 26th September 2023, by the Food Safety Department in collaboration with other stakeholders. The event aimed to enhance the knowledge of ICDS (Integrated Child Development Services) and Noon meal workers in Alappuzha, with a focus on improving their skills in food production. It was also intended to promote women empowerment through skill development as part of the department's social responsibility initiatives. Different fortified rice products were introduced, displayed and distributed for tasting. Achievements and Outcomes: Enhanced Knowledge: The outreach activity successfully enhanced the knowledge of ICDS and Noon meal workers in Alappuzha, particularly in the field of food production. Attendees gained valuable insights into the preparation of fortified rice and its significance in providing balanced nutrition to children. Empowerment: The event also contributed to women empowerment by equipping working ladies with valuable skills that can improve their professional competence. Community Building: The interactive sessions and networking opportunities facilitated the building of a supportive community among the participants, which is expected to have long-lasting positive effects on their work. Conclusion: The Outreach Activity "Demonstration of Fortified Rice" was a resounding success in achieving its objectives. It not only enhanced the knowledge and skills of ICDS and Noon meal workers but also promoted women empowerment as a crucial aspect of social responsibility. Director IGNOU) - Ms. Bharti Kalappa (Head Facilities- Noida International Airport) - Mr. Gagan Kulshreshtha (Zonal Manager - North & East India, Diversey India). The discussion was moderated by Mr. Kamal Kant Pant (Principal, IHM Pusa). More than 200 students and faculty members participated in the Seminar. The Seminar ended with the Nukkad Natak.

Telangana view allTravel for LiFE Program was officially launched by the Hon’ble Minister of State for Tourism at the Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi.The Secretary of Tourism unveiled the Yuva Tourism Club (YTC) Merchandise, adding an extra layer of excitement to the event. The YTC Merchandise promises to be a symbol of youth engagement in the tourism industry. We are proud that the Yuva Tourism Club from Green Field School, Safdarjung Enclave, New Delhi, actively participated in the event. The YTC members were presented with the newly launched Merchandise, a reminder of their commitment to sustainable tourism.
