Travel for Life Pledge and Painting competition

Kendriya Vidyalaya ONGC, Dehradun,Uttarakhand pulsated with vibrant energy and a spirit of adventure as they celebrated National Tourism Day. The day was dedicated to raising awareness about the significance of sustainable tourism practices and encouraging responsible travel choices among students.The highlight of the event was the "Travel for Life" pledge taken by all Yuva Tourism Club students. With raised hands and determined voices, they pledged to be responsible tourists, respecting local cultures, preserving the environment, and minimizing their impact on tourist destinations. Kendriya Vidyalaya ONGC Dehradun's National Tourism Day celebrations served as a powerful reminder of the importance of tourism in India's social and economic development. Approved, guide of MOT, provided excellent guidance to the students, offering them a unique opportunity to learn about the history and culture of the site. More than 60 students participated in the heritage walk of Humayun's Tomb.

Govt. Co-Ed Senior Secondary School, Delhi

Educational Trip at Bharat Darshan Park.

Yuva Tourism Club of Govt. Co-Ed Senior Secondary School, Nehru Nagar, New Delhi, visited Bharat Darshan Park in Punjabi Bagh on 09.2.2024 sponsored by Ministry of Tourism, Government of India, (Northern Region) .The park in Punjabi Bagh, is developed by Municipal Corporation from waste materials. This park has been made by using all sorts of waste materials and named Bharat Darshan Park. It has the replicas of 21 monuments of India , like Qutub Minar, Taj Mahal, Char Minar, Gateway of India, Konark Temple, Mysore Palace, Meenakshi Temple, Hampi, Victoria Memorial, Sanchi Stupa, Gol Gumbaz, Azanta & Ellora Caves, Hawa Mahal, Khajuraho Temple, Nalanda University, Junagarh Fort, Tawang Gate, Rameswaram, Dwarkadhish, Jagannath Puri, Badrinath and a banyan tree. 50 students participated in educational trip to Bharat Darshan Park.

The students have also learned how to responsibly use and conserve energy on a daily basis for sustainability. The event was Chaired by the faculties of SIHM, Raipur about the “Energy Conservation Day ” & Mission Energy where they also gave their insights on this topic.

Educational Tour

Students of Youth Tourism Club of Pandit Rambishal Pandey Excellent English Medium School, Rajim were taken on an educational trip to Sirpur on 09/12/2023, the ancient capital of Chhattisgarh. On this occasion, under the leadership of Principal Mr. Sanjay Ekka and Teacher Coordinator Mr. Narayan Lal Sahu, all the students were taken on a tour of Laxman Temple, Surang Tila, Tibar Dev Buddhist Vihar, Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh Reservoir and Shaktipeeth Maa Chandi Birkoni and got historical information about all these places. And the archaeological importance was explained to the students in detail.

The characteristics of mountain climate and ecosystems vary depending on specific altitude, the landforms, biomes, bodies of water surrounding the mountain, and proximity to the equator. These properties include rapid variation in weather and organisms, biodiversity, and the property of being fragile. All mountain ecosystems share the property of high altitude, rising rapidly from the surrounding terrain. Generally, mountainous regions are defined as any rugged gradient rising above 5,000 feet. Mountains are distinguished from plateaus by their grade. While plateaus are also found at 5,000 feet or more above sea level, they do not share the steep incline of a mountainous landform.
