On World Tourism Day, September 27, 2023, Yuva Tourism Club at Vishwakarma University organized a cleanliness drive at Shaniwar Wada in Pune. This event was held in collaboration with India Tourism, under the Ministry of Tourism, Government of India. Participants also took a pledge to maintain cleanliness.
Maharashtra view allHeritage walk was organized by the Yuva Tourism Club of St. Thomas’ School, Shimla. More than 40 club members participated in this heritage walk under the chairmanship of Yuva Tourism Club coordinator teachers Surender Sharma and Tarun Sharma. The purpose of this walk was to give information about the heritage buildings and routes of Shimla to the club members. The members of the Yuva Tourism Club started the heritage walk from the Army Command Artrac Shimla and concluded it at the Army Heritage Museum Annadale. The teachers of the Yuva Tourism Club gave detailed information about various heritage buildings and places of Shimla to the club members, after which the club members enjoyed the heritage walk from Victory Tunnel to the Army Heritage Museum Annadale via Kaithu Marg. During the heritage walk, the club members tried to give the message of environmental protection and the ill effects of plastic by picking up plastic bottles and also took an oath to protect natural resources. It was also decided to organize tourism related activities in future. The members also visited various Army related weapons, various Army uniforms, medals, gallantry activities of Indian Army displayed at the Army Museum, Annadale Complex. The school's principal Vidhupriya Chakrvarty gave the message to the members of the Yuva tourism club to participate enthusiastically in the club's activities. And also called upon them to be aware about environmental protection and the ill effects of plastic. In this Yuva tourism club, 40 members including student leaders Aarushi Thakur, Lakshya Verma, Rajkumar, Atika, Nishtha Thakur, Ashutosh, Amit, Priya etc were also present.
Himachal Pradesh view allYuva Tourism Club of Kendriya Vidyalaya CISF Bhilai observed Hindi Nav Varsha on 09 April 2024. The students were informed about the importance of the day. The students were surprised to know the great mathematician Bhaskarcharya created Hindi Panchang on this very day. The students participated with enthusiasm and pledged to follow the path shown by Lord Rama. Mr R K Yadav I/C Principal conveyed his best wishes on the occasion and urged students to follow the path of truth and justice. The programme was conducted by Dr Pankaj Shukla
Chattisgarh view allIndia Tourism Jaipur organized Heritage Walk from Krishna Satsang Girls College to Deewan Ji Ki Nasiyan at Sikar on 30th July, 2024. Around 130 students of Konark College of Hotel Management and Krishna Satsang Girls College participated in the aforesaid walk. The students visited different heritage havelies, Jain temples during the walk. The guide explained the heritage importance of these places to the students. During the walk, officials from Rajasthan Tourism department, Shri Mahaveer Purohit (having deep knowledge of history), hoteliers, travel agents were also present during the heritage walk.

Himachal Pradesh view allYuva Tourism Club members of Mary Matha English Medium High School from Guntur district participated in the Heritage Walk and Awareness Program at Amaravati Buddhist Stupa & Museum organized by the Ministry of Tourism, Government of India, Nodal office Vijayawada in association with Andhra Pradesh Tourism Authority and Archeological Survey of India. To celebrate the rich heritage of Andhra Pradesh as a part of 46th Session of the World Heritage Committee Meeting, heritage walk was conducted and the history and significance of Amaravati was explained by the guide. Yuva Tourism Club members took a Travel for LiFE Pledge to commit to sustainable practices and a responsible travelers.

Andhra Pradesh view allA seminar on Health Awareness Program, Plantation and Swachh Bharat was organized for the Yuva Tourism Club of Government Junior College in Srikakulam. Doctor Aravind explained to the club members the importance of daily diet and better exercise for health. District Tourism Officer N.Narayana Rao explained the benefits of planting saplings and taking care of them and the importance of Cleanliness for the club members. The Principal of the college encouraged the students to keep their health in good condition and spoke about the importance of personality development to become good citizens in the society.
Andhra Pradesh view allOn 30th July 2024, the India Tourism Field Office Himachal Pradesh, Ministry of Tourism collaborated with the Yuva Tourism Club of IHM Shimla to organize an essay writing and poster-making event in celebrating Heritage Month. The theme of the event was "Conserving Heritage Monuments," aimed at spreading awareness about the importance of preserving our cultural heritage. The event saw enthusiastic participation from the 2nd and 3rd year degree students. Their engagement and creativity in addressing the theme demonstrated a profound understanding of heritage conservation and a deep appreciation for Indian culture.

Delhi view allVanmahotsav, the tree planting festival in India, was enthusiastically celebrated at Hansraj Model School, Punjabi Bagh. Students participated in this festival by bringing their own plants and enjoyed planting 20 saplings of Amla, Neem etc that was provided by the Ministry of Tourism. This activity aimed to foster environmental awareness and promote understanding of traditional medicinal practices, highlighting the importance of nature and its resources in everyday health and well-being
